There aren't a lot of clubs to participate in. Senior: My overall high school experience was decent. Bishop Baraga Catholic School is an amazing experience that you should partake in!. I have been here since preschool, and there hasn't been a day that goes by that I didn't want to spend my childhood here. Even though we have to wear uniforms it can prevent your child from getting bullied. The teachers here are very kind, and they give us opportunities to bring our grade up with extra credit assignments. The school offers leveled learning from second grade all the way to seventh grade. We participate in Mass on Thursday, and it is a joy to learn and have a stronger relationship with God. This school gives us a great opportunity to grow in faith. When I wake up in the morning I am excited to go to Bishop Baraga and learn. This means that we can offer an unlimited amount of college credits at our high school.Middle School Student: Bishop Baraga Catholic School is an amazing school that offers students to not only succeed in academics, but also to have stronger relationships with people. Finally, Poudre has been authorized by the Higher Learning Commission as an alternate site for Front Range Community College. Further, the philosophy of the Middle Years Program taught in all classes encourages students to develop the academic and social skills needed to be successful learners. Poudre is also home to PSD’s International Baccalaureate Program whose mission is to “develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect." This mission is clearly embedded in the PHS philosophy represented by Ubuntu. Your success is our success! Poudre is unique in that we have a wall-to-wall Pathway model, based on the Colorado Career Clusters, which create smaller learning communities within a large high school. We’re all in this together - students, parents, counselors, teachers and staff. We live by the philosophy of Ubuntu - translated as “I am who I am because of who we are.” Ubuntu speaks about our interconnectedness and how our actions affect the whole community.
